What is meant by Access Control or Access Control? Some people may be familiar with this Security System section. In simple terms, Access Control is a method for controlling the passage of people and objects into or out of an area.
Access Control Systems is an electronic system that facilitates automatic permission for users who have legal permission to pass through a door or gate without requiring security officers to check and open the door or gate.
An Access Control System can determine which users are allowed in and out, where these users can come in and out and when these users can come in and out.
In the past, people used ordinary door locks with keys to restrict someone from entering and leaving the room. But now the need has developed much further, from initially just determining who has the right to enter and exit, to the need to be able to monitor and regulate incoming and outgoing access in real-time.
Keys that were previously used as user access to enter a room or building have been replaced using a computer-based electronic access control system.

Credentials and Identification Methods

Access Reader

Is a device used to read and validate credentials or identification methods. The access reader may be a card reader, fingerprint scanner, or other device that is compatible with the identification method used in the access control system.

Controllers

A controller is a processing unit that manages and controls the flow of information between access readers, door lock systems, and access management systems. This unit is also responsible for making access decisions based on information received from access readers.

Door Lock System

The door lock system is the component that controls the lock or locking mechanism on the door. This system works with the controller to open or lock the door based on the authorization given.

Access Management System

An access management system is software used to manage and organize users, authorization, and access policies in an access control system. This system allows administrators to set access rights, manage users, and track access activity.
